Chief Randy Sobel & K-9 Raven
Chief Randy Sobel joined the Middleton Police Department full time in 1995. Prior to that Chief Sobel worked full time for the Milton Police Department in 1989 and then the Farmington Police Department in 1991. Chief Sobel is graduate of Hesser College and enjoys coaching various youth sports teams. He is the K-9 Officer and enjoys time with his family and dogs.
K-9 "Raven" replaced K-9 "Mason" as the department K-9 in April of 2008. "Raven" was just under a year old when he joined the department. He is a Groendael who was born in the Czech Republic.
On May 30, 2008 Raven was certified in patrol through the NH State Police K-9 Program. This includes tracking, article searches and aprehension. Currently, Raven is in narcotic detection school and should be certified in narcotic detection in the beginning of December of 2008.
Sergeant David Hall
Sergeant David Hall started as a part time police officer for the Town of Middleton in 1993. He was then hired as a full time police officer in 1998. He was promoted to Corporal and then to Sergeant. Prior to coming to the Town of Middleton, he worked for the Town of New Durham, and the Town of Farmington. He served as a Field Training Officer, Evidence Officer, Handcuffing and PR-24 Instructor.
Sergeant Hall has a total of 20+ years in law enforcement. He enjoys time with his family and friends. He is also looking forward to retiring and starting a new career.
Sergeant Stacy Gilman
Sergeant Stacy Gilman joined the Middleton Police Department in a part time status in October of 2006. He was then brought on full time in March of 2007. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in August 2008.
Prior to his time in Middleton, Sergeant Gilman was a 13+ year veteran of the Rochester Police Department where he served a patrolman, detective, and School Resource Officer. Sergeant Gilman resides in Farmington with his wife, Jenn and two children, Zachary and Zoe. He is a college graduate and an Air Force Reserve member serving as the First Sergeant for the 439th Civil Engineering Squadron at Westover ARB in Massachusetts. He is also a member of the Strafford County Regional Tactical Operations Unit.
Officer Sean O'Reilly
I am a full time police officer for the Town of Middleton, I am a training officer, Taser Instructor, Baton Instructor, and an OC Spray Instructor. I have worked for the Town of Middleton in a full time and part time capacity for six years. I have been in law enforcement for a total of ten years.
Sue Nolen - Department Secretary
Sue Nolen has been with the Middleton Police Dept for 7 years. She loves to bowl and read.
